A new adventure every day... I third the...get sleep while you can. I got my pup, Heart on July 30th (or 31st)....haven't slept a full night yet..... can you say "sleep deprived"??????? :lol:

I got our pup last Dec minus -35, up every 3 hours ok if ya can go back to sleep, BUT when that cold hits you, you are awake late nite snacking.  Fall asleep and up again.  But it does not last long. I am getting my next pup in 2 weeks and much better WEATHER s have fun it really does go fast. |

| I wish that we had been as smart as you people that are getting puppies in summer. We got Bella in January and had to deal with shoveling out a walk for her in the back yard as well as getting up and going outside in the middle of the night when it was cold. When/if we get another puppy it will be in the summer. |

You weren't the only one. The snow made potty training even worse because I think Clyde ate more snow than he actually peed out water every time we went out! |

| at the moment her name is Summer but we are going to see what her pedigree name is......just dragged the crate from out the cellar, it is the medium size we used for my yorkie. My yorkie is looking at it very suspiciously!
got lots of newspapers, puppy food, puppy milk, cleaned the kitchen floor. I seem to remember last time we had a puppy it got cleaned every day. Now just need the puppy!  |

| She is home, took some photos but not very good. She was as good as gold on way home, she has grown so much in 3 weeks since we saw her. She has had 2 wees and 2 poos both in the general vicinity of the paper!
Spooky thing is we have just been comparing her pedigree with our Katy who died 7th July and they both have the same father! But, they came from entirely different areas of the UK! The breeder must have sold him on. So she is Katy's half sister.....must have been meant to have her... |

| MY Nigel likes his crate but it is a wire crate. He HATES the airline crate he traveled in and we have been using it when we go to the vet. Next time he will go on a lead, I can't hold him in my lap anymore. 12 weeks tomorrow and already almost 20 lbs.
