I've heard from other dogs that they had similar problems with the pooh beein ok at first and then get softer, is it because about the weather? It' s very warm/hot here since 2 weeks? I just wonder???? |

It's hot as hades here, but we've not had any poo problems. *touch wood*
I think if it has been going on for a week, I'd probably get to the vet for a check up - just to be safe. |
My sister and I were just talking about this exact subject this morning. Oliver and her pup have both been having soft stools, not runny as you desribed, but a little soft. We were wondering the same thing-does the fact it is over 100 degress out have anything to do with it? |
It's been over 100 here as well and Barney has had a few days of a regular poo followed by softies...He's fine otherwise, so I'm just chalking it up to the weather. |
We are the opposite, rain finally and last week mine had it. I gave up and went to the vets as sloppy poops and hairy butts got way too much.
If it has been going on for more then a couple of days best to take her to the vet and have it cleared up with medication. Mine started out firm and over about 4 days just got sloppier and sloppier. I even did not feed them for 24 hours and started them back on rice and chicken but needed to go to the vets in the end. So I knew it was not dietry some sort of bug there. I was thinking change in weather too, but going from very dry conditions to wet and soggy conditions here. Bugs/viruses grow in all sorts of conditions and I think with any weather change it brings the buggars out. We finally have firmys YAY. |
