Now, her hair is starting to grow out nicely. She is white and carmel colored. From what I have viewed on this website, I suppose she is cross with another breed since it seems that most OESs are white and black. Whatever her breed, I love her!! Personally, I'm a cat lover. But, when I found Emma, I immediately fell in love with her. She has restored my love for dogs. She is so much fun and true companion. She follows me everywhere!! Bartley, Baxter, and Bonnie (the cats) aren't too sure about this 'horse' who now lives in the house with them. However, Bonnie has made up quite nicely with Emma. It's fun to see this little black cat and big (mostly) white dog sleep side by side. I joined this site to get tips on caring for Emma and to see if anyone with lots of experience with OES have words of wisdom regarding her background. I look forward to hearing from you!! |

Welcome from Minnesota.
Your Emma Gracie sounds like a SWEETIE. Do post a picture (or many) when you can. Most of the OES crosses still have the wonderful sheepdog personalty. She sounds like a great dog. Thank you for finding her and giving her a home. Our rescue dogs have become just as much family members as if we had them from birth! (In the case of my rescue basset Simon, even more so!) |
Congrats and welcome! I went to college in the NW part of IA. |
