Yea, that is happenng with Chauncey. I was wondering about that as well. |
It's probably not you, it's just the mat fairies sneaking in!
Usually mats tend to pop up in the same places over and over again because they're in a place subject to lots of friction. Clyde gets more mats on his right side because when he sleeps next to the bed, he slides down his right side to lie down. Hence, tangles ensue. He also gets a lot on his neck from playing with Bear. Coat changes never help, either. |
hmmmm that could be it, has been on te side she sleeps on and one spot near top shoulder and she has been the back rub on the floor for belly tickles and her chest area lots of hair there. |
And anyone with more than one dog, may as well just accept that mats are a fact of life...When they play and wrestle, mats are easily formed.. |
If the hair is damaged, it will matt much easier. If you aren't planning to show, try a little leave in conditioner in that spot. Just a little and dilute it a bit. Don't make the hair greasy. |
Beau's armpits always get matted easily and neck area. Today I used No more tears detangler on him like someone here suggested and it worked wonderfully. Those matts are frustrating!!! |
