I took him to do his business, and he did. As I was throwing away the bag, he started doing his poopy walk, so I knew he had to do more. Well, boy did he! And man, was it hard to clean up from the grass (we were in a public place so I tried to get as much as possible, but it's hard when it's soft!). So, our apartment complex has a car wash place, with a hose and stuff. So I took Barney over there because his poor butt was all poopy and drippy (sorry!). He DID NOT want anything to do with this...and he backed away as hard as he could and his collar slipped off his neck and he went trotting (not running, just a fast walk ) up the parking lot toward our apartment. I finally caught up with him! Put his collar back on and washed him. He seemed so ashamed! |

too funny
I can picture it..."MOM...what are you doooing back there " Izzie's back end is regularly checked with baby wipes...just in case...so she is used to that kind of scrutiny |
hahaha...im sorry, a loose runaway isnt funny, but a loose runaway barney is priceless
for goodness sake, hes a big boy, he just didnt want momma checking his butt out....word might get around |
Poor poor poopy butt doggie.. I can totally picture it |
Awww....poor Barney - he was embarassed.
Too funny, though, Steph! BTW, how's the new house coming along? |

Too funny, though, Steph! BTW, how's the new house coming along? It was funny. I was laughing while I was running (in wet slippery flip flops in 100 degree heat!) House is coming along nicely. It's almost done. We move in 3 weeks! |
Fortunately it was warm enough to hose it off. I had that problem with Barney last winter. It was too cold to hose him off outside so I thought I could clean up the mess with a wet rag. Of course the more it tried to clean the messyer he got. Wound up giving him a complete bath. Now I keep his but trimmed better and with Purina one and careful about what kind of treats he gets, thing are much better. |
You have my sympathy! Every time Pepsi goes to the dog park he has the same exact problem and it's not very easy to wash it off by splashing water from the water fountain on it.
How exciting about the house!! |
Awww poor barney You're not supposed to do that in front of his fur friends. Poor blushing sheepie :D:D |

That's an understatement! Man, it's hot out here right now! |
WOW - moving in three weeks?!?! I'd be so excited!! Has Barney been to the new place yet? |
That is very funny! There are an awful lot of sheepies out there (I had two of them) that don't like their butts messed with - which is crazy since they are a breed that requires a lot of butt maintenance (hair trimming, dingleberries, etc.)!
Poor Barney! |
I should of sent my two last week over to you for the car wash now that would of been a great idea for poopy butts. |
Good boy Barney, even without a collar you knew to go home and not dash off towards busy roadways. Sorry about your Butt and Mom's interest in getting you clean. |
