Anyone have blackberry ideas?
Anyone have any good ideas what to do with them? Not canning or anything like that--maybe like cakes or main dishes or something. |

| its not going to uses a lot of them up, but i like a lettuce salad with grilled chicken, tons of veggies, any type of berry, some goat cheese and a light dijion mustard dressing.....always my fav!! |
| We just picked a bunch of blackberries on vacation in Washington. They were so good. I love them on top of dry cereal with a little sugar. Rice Crispies with blackberries are SO good! |
| We call it Jam(Preserve) here, I suppose that is Jelly over there.
Make it, it is easy and then you have Blackberry jam to use on lots of things over time then.  |
| We call it both Jam and Jelly over here There's a difference between the 2, but they're basically the same thing.
So, I ate as many as I could--I intended to make some sort of lemon cake type thing with the blackberries in it (and on top) but I just got too lazy and didn't feel like having to clean up the mess in our tiny kitchen. So...blackberries naked, blackberries in oatmeal, blackberries on cereal...and some for the trash bin...They WERE YUMMY! |
