Thats right, Limon CO. Packed up the car and the dogs for our two week trip around Co. So far Simon has not been "that" bad. He doesn't relax in the car. I have a dog that wants to know what is going on and who is doing it. The seats are out of the PT Cruiser and the back is packed so the actual room the dogs have is "adequate" but not large. So Simon wants to sit in the front seat so he can watch whats going on....I'm in the front seat. He has tried sneaking into my lap and just plain barging in. Its kinds funny unless you are trying to read a map and the car is hurtling down the highway. The sitting in the car for hours is hard on all of us and tomarrow is more of the same. We head over to Ouray in the morning. We spend 4days there. I brought along the obedience trainer because Simon barks at the smallast noise. What is the obedience trainer? Its a can with a few coins in it. I'm not sure why it works SO WELL but it does Where does my golden Taylor fit in all this? My good boy is just a dream. Goes with the flow, in the car he lays down and goes to sleep, we stop for potty and he goes, stop for the night and he quiet all night. He is a seasoned traveler. This is Simon's first long trip and so far, not so bad. |

Have dogs, will travel...... such fun!
We drove 930 miles with both the boys on Sat, except for occassionally snarling at each other they were good. Hotels though, forget it, that is whay we drive straight through. At a hotel they never settle down but pace and bark at every noise. Don't know what we will do if we ever have to go more than a day away!
