I have a idea............
Since I have been a member of this forum I have met the most amazing people. I truly did not believe that such great people were even left in this world. ( Sad to say) You all are so amazing in helping each other and truly caring for each other even though most of us have never even met in person. I was wanting to nominate a member of the forum for the "Extreme makeover show " http://abc.go.com/primetime/xtremehome/ Every time I read one of her post it just amazes me how everything she does is so selfless. I am talking about 'Marianne 'and I bet most of you knew that right away. Now the problem is after I printed out all the forms I realized they ask a whole lot of personal questions about the person you are nominating .Well, I don't know those answers. Next problem I can't even find out if they go and do the Home Makeovers in British Columbia. 
I wanted so much to try and do this and PM most of you about it and make it a big surprise if she was picked but I have come to a dead end. So,I was thinking if each one of us e-mail the show and tell them about all the amazing things she does and has done maybe we can still make it happen. What do you all think ? If anyone deserves this she does. Antoinette |

Think of it, if we all send in e-mails to them they would have to be curious and with all the bad things in the news about animal abuse they can show people that there are still Marianne's left in the world. I know if anyone can make this happen it is people from this forum!

| Animal Planet is also doing its "Hero of the Year" nominations now. That definitely might be a great alternative to look in to. I thought of Marianne when I heard the criteria! |
| WOW!!!! I'm truly touched and teery eyed that you guys even think of me in those terms.
We have a local show here that does 25,000 home makeovers and ironically of the four shows that aired , two of them featured people that help animals. So think they already have done that. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT?????? The reason I found out and learned how to do stuff is watching HGTV shows..Home Garden show and always watch Jim Caruk and Mike Holmes. They are CASTING!!!!! for their next Handyman challenge show and that's my dream! I have until Aug 10th to send in a vid (don't have a camera so must get a hold of one somehow). They choose 10 people from across Canada to take part. Crossing my fingers I can get this done in time (always have it in the back of my head so I always take before and after shots of projects) Although they require a vid as I mentioned. Cross your fingers, legs and eyes that I will be able to get this done in time!
