Pizza for Sam, by Mary Labatt (Author), Marisol Sarrazin (Illustrator) It is the cutest the story about a sheepie girl named Sam who is trying her best to get into the various foods for a party her people are having. They keep telling her it's "not for puppies" and they give her dog food but she hates dog food and thinks it stinks! Finally, in true sheepie fashion, she manages to sneak away with a pizza while everyone is busy. It's adorable and definitely sounds like something Lucy would do!! I looked up the author, Mary Labatt, and she has another whole series for older kids (grades 3-5) about a grown up Sam (Sam: Dog Detective). |

Looks fun. I will look for the book. Breanna's birthday is this month! |
LOL...what a cute picture on the cover.
I found a Golden Book named "Rags" about an OES. It's about a Male dog...but I change it to a female when I read. My kids love it. They think their dog has her very own book written about her. |
I put up a link for it... it's about $4 at Amazon.com. If you've got a cart of stuff, might as well add this to it!

I actually brought a Kiddies book for myself
The illustrations in it are just beautiful, all sheepie. Called "John Brown and the Midnight Cat" John Brown is the sheepie and the pictures and story is just wonderful. My excuse, heck you never too old to enjoy. |
Very cute!
But don't read it to any of the sheepies! They'll get ideas... |
