My 5 year old female OES is always running into things but she has the blues and I dont want to cause her to go blind. If you could help that would be great and I am sorry if this has already been answered but I couldnt seem to find anything regarding it as most of you suggest to put the hair in a top knot. Thanks again, Courtney |

Load of nonsense, blue eyes, brown eyes does not matter. If she is running into things, top knot or clip off the hair so she can see.
Welcome to the forum too courtney. |

If it sounds like a myth, it probably is!

When we got our first sheepie we asked our vet about the hair over the eyes. His response always stuck with me. He said, "If you had all that hair over YOUR eyes, could YOU see??" From that point on, all my sheepies have had the hair over their eyes cut short! |
Clip it shorter or tie it up.
They need to see where they're going. I wonder who in the world ever started that rumor and how many dogs have lost eyes due to physical injuries because of it? |
my vet said the same thing about the hair in the eyes to me |
