My poor baby, she was so upset that she had messed in the house. Nothing like rushing off to the vet. I spoke to them this morning and they were running more tests this morning and hopefully I can pick her up by 2. She will be on Vitamin K for the next 14 days. How can someone be so freaking stupid. Keep it at your house, do not put it in a field for pete's sake. |

Oh that's so terrible!

Oh no!!! Poor Bunker. I hope she's feeling better soon. How scary!!!! I can't beleiove someone would be so irresponsible! Grr |
OMG, How terrible! Poor Bunker !!!
I hope she's feeling better very soon. |
Poor Bunker! I hope she's better soon. I agree, it's irresponsible to put poison down near residential areas. I have a friend who lost her Sheltie that way. |
Oh no! How scary. I hope she'll be okay. Not that I want coyotes in a residential area, but I don't like the way they poison them to get rid of them either |
Positive thoughts headed your way!
Poor baby. And poor you. |
Hope he will be ok. At least we have a law here that if you use anything like that you have to notify your neighbors AND POST IT ON THE AREA!!!
Prayers and hugs |
Poor Bunker! I'm suprised someone could be so ignorant: with children, pets, and run-off concern (if it hurts a sheepie, it would probably kill a fish). |
Poor Bunker! Please keep us posted on how she is doing. Do you have a subdivision association? Everyone needs to be aware of this in your area including the idiots who are responsible without posting any signs warning everyone. |
Oh, poor Bunker! I hope she's feeling better today. Thank God you were able to get her to the vet as quickly as you did. |
I'm really sorry that happened. I'm glad to hear she's doing better, though.
Is it even legal to poison coyotes? Aren't you supposed to contact the DNR (at least in the states) and have them rectify the problem? I can't believe putting poison in a field would be good for anyone. It'll seep into the ground and if it rains, or blows, who knows where it could end up. |
That is terrible- poor girl!
i would definitely contact the police department and animal control in your area and also post signs around the neighborhood and the field. That is so dangerous! |
Oh my god... Glad you could rush Bunker to the ER.
Lennon & Sofa send Sheepie kisses (They're shocked to hear you can't email treats) and wish for a speedy recovery. |
How scary and awful it happened. We are sending positive thoughts for bunker and hope all will be OK. |
OMG how scary.
I hope she gets better fast...... Antoinette |
What a horrinble experience! I'm so glad you knew to get her in somewher when you did and didn't wait.......
This is a fear of mine with all the coyotes where i live. Ali |
Oh....poor girl!!!...and how awful for you too! I hope she's feeling better every day!! Hugs to her. Please keep us updated on her progress. |
That is awful. I hope Bunker is alright soon.
My parents had a dog poisoned like that when I was little. He died from it. They were in a residential area too, one of the suburbs of St. Paul/Minneapolis. Stupid people! |
Hope Bunker is feeling better soon. How awful!! |
I'm so sorry for Bunker and hope all goes well for him |
Poor girl . Proves yet again that morons are in abundant supply |

My Mom picked her up tonight from the ER vet for me (I had Barkley" the rescue. SHe doing better but on 4 different types of meds and special food for the next 14-21 days. Poor girl but she was happy to have her Mommy and Daddy back again.
God help the person who did this if I ever catch them , I will need bail money at that point. |
So glad to hear an update on Bunker, my heart sank when I read your original post.
Give that sweetheart a huge hug and also one for yourself too, what a dreadfull, stressfull time. If you find out who planted the baits, then give them a KAPOWEE in the snout for me. I'll help raise funds for your bail Did you contact the whatever department it is and ask them if they have laid baits? Or do you suspect just some nutter that gets a kick out of doing this? I am so relieved your girl is back home with her family. HUGS |
Good grief!! How can people be so irresponsible??
It's good that you were thinking so quickly and got Bunker to the hospital without delay. Very glad to hear she's going to be okay. Give her a hug for me. |

Count us in if you need someone to pitch in for Bail Money. |
Hi,
I am appalled someone could be so irresponsible and even thought to do something like that. Thank God that Bunker is going to be okay - Please give him an extra belly rub and kiss on his big nose from me. I'll be thinking of you all. Marianne |
