Waukesha Show results
We had an awesome weekend with all the dogs. Everyone had a win in our group at some point on the weekend.  We humans had a great time visiting and grilling, talking, bathing dogs, grooming, eating and the mojitos were wonderful too!
Friday was the Specialty. In Sweepstakes Chewie won Best of Opposite. In the regular classes he won Reserve Winners. Saturday Chewie won his class and Reserve Winners. Sunday was the best. Chewie won his class, Winners Dog and Best of Winners - and it was a 3 point major!!
And his family did great too. His sisters (all littermates) won on Sunday as well. Martha got reserve winners and Macy took Best of Opposite. Uncle Luca did the best. He won Best of Breed both Saturday and Sunday, and went on to win a group 3 on Saturday and a group 4 placing on Sunday!! They did well in the Rally ring too. Simon picked up 2 legs toward his Rally Excellent - and also got a 4th place win in his class on Sunday. Clay got his 1st leg in Rally Novice. (and LeAnne has only had him since March)
Chewie's aunt Bebe got her 5th and 6th qualifying scores toward her RAE. It was a wonderful weekend for Simon the Basset and all the OES family. And I promise - there are great pictures coming!! |

Absolutely fantastic, YAY Chewie, a champion soon I expect. Well done to all the family too. What a fun weekend. OK what is a mojitos? You have me wondering there. 
Well done to simon too, he is just the cutest basset and so clever.
And Clay WOW, LeAnne for the short time she has had him, they both are doing amazingly. Way to go Clay & LeAnne, special boy and doing so well.  |

| Thanks for the compliments. Chewie is such a sweetie - the fact he actually is doing well in conformation is just icing on the cake!
