His incision looks good and he is getting better every day! He passed his check up and are up to giving him 10-15 minute walks 2-3 times a day and ice the knee after that. Unfortunately, the weather has been in the 90's and walks during the day are on hold. He needs a hair cut, since he looks like an orphan with the shaved areas from surgery. (the leg, the lower back from an epidural, the front leg from the IV and on his left side from a pain patch) We get alot of strange looks since there is no hair on his back leg! At this point it's difficult to see where the incision was. |

That's wonderful that he's doing well!
I'm sure he'll appreciate a haircut....especially in all that heat. |
That is great news! I hope he continues to mend well. |
So wonderful to hear all is going well for Pooh Bear, give pooh a gentle belly rub from us here in Oz. Keep the good reports happening on poohs road to recovery. |
Sounds like progress! Yay pooh-bear!! |

That's terrific that he's making such progress! Glad to hear it! |
Great news! And he lets you ice him down?! WOW!
Yes, a shave down will help even up his bald spots, But you know, once the hair starts coming back in those areas will be hardly noticeable....unless the rest of his is quite long. |
Pooh-Bear is doing better every day. His limp is hardly noticeable. Gave him a hair cut today. Got most of it done except for his feet (too ticklish at one sitting!) Haven't walked him yet, since it has been sooooo hot!
We are so glad to have had this done, it's such an improvement over what he had gone through. |
Great news that Pooh-Bear is feeling better |
Way to go PoohBear! |
