He's just about a year (maybe alittle over a year) old and is only about 45-50 lbs. Really happy fellow, while still very very energetic. He's GOT to have a family missing him though because he's just too sweet. We've been calling him Friend, but if you know his real name, c'mon by! We found this Old English Sheepdog (who's only about a year old and about 40-50 lbs) on Fourth of July. He's social with other dogs (ours loves him) and is so sweet that we KNOW that a family's got to be missing him by now. | I emailed them, just asking if the owner had claimed him yet. I also told them about this website, and asked them to contact a resue if the owner doesn't claim him, instead of taking him to a pound. It is really nice of them to post a add on Craigslist to find the owner, instead of just taking him a pound. |

Thanks for contacting them. I wrote to the person too... both yesterday and today but haven't received a reply yet. I mentioned placing the ads here on OES.org and about being careful that someone doesn't try to claim him in order to sell him or use him for breeding. I told them that he could also be younger as Ron had mentioned too. I provided a list of OES rescue contacts in Missouri. I guess that's all we can do. If anyone hears anything please let us know? |
