I would suggest taking your keeshound to the Vet for a thorough checkup. If this behavior is new, it could be that he is in pain and that is why he does not want the other dog around him. Dogs can be very snarly and tempermental when they are in pain. It could also be that they are struggling for top dog position. In that case, you might need the help of a behaviorist.
