Sweet Pea Oct 31, 2002-Sept 9, 2004
She had a seizure, and just died. It was so fast, so unexpected. Well, sort of unexpected. She has had seizures before, and the vet told us a year ago she wouldn't live a week, but she just kept going, so I guess we kind of put it out of our minds. Though this cat had obvious brain damage,we think from problems during birth, and occasionally we thought sometimes she barely remembered to breathe, she seemed happy and healthy most of the time. She was a rescue who quickly won us over, and we're going to miss her. She hadn't even reached her second birthday, which would have been on October 31st.  |

| Awwww Willowsprite I'm so sorry for your loss of Sweet Pea. The ones with special challenges pull the hardest at the heartstrings, and only when the strings are taut do they make beautiful music. So the music must have been the loudest from Sweet Pea, and the silence unbearable.

Stormi, Isis and Winston seem ok today, they still seem to look for her every now and then.... but I'm sure they knew long before we did, animals seem to sense right away if something is not right with another animal or person. |
| I'm sad about Sweet Pea but rejoice the life you gave her! For a kitty who wouldn't last a week, she had a lifetime (tho very short) of love from humans and play pals. What more can a kitty ask? |

Williow what a special person you are for taking such wonderful care of this little fragile life.A life that wasnt meant to be more than a week,but through love and kindness you and your family gave this little,beautiful kitty Sweet Pea she lived for a long time,even tho a year thats a long time compared to what she was given.she is looking down on you,and Im sure she is looking for another kitty for you and your family to love and show what family really means. I was sad to hear about the loss of your beautiful Sweetpea - what a sweet little face. It's always so hard when a much loved pet passes - especially at such a young age.
