Good morning wake up call

Our bedroom doesnt get that dark, so around 4 am I put the pillow over my head for complete darkness......

At 5 this morning I woke up to ''someone'' pushing down on the pillow....my first thought was someone broke in and was trying to smother me...i shoved the pillow aside....looked around and realized that the alarm was set...brian was sleeping soundly, arms at his side......

The very next minute, Panda takes a flying leap onto the bed and pulls the covers off of brian....

Where in the world did she learn this?????? She must have really had to go potty...... 8O

That is so funny!
None of ours are in the bedroom with us (can you you imagine that disaster?? 8O )

But, Clay does the same thing to LeAnne and Keith. Most days he waits for the alarm, but some days they get tackled!!

When we were at Sheepiepalooza Clay did that in the motel room, and Chewie was looking at Clay like "wow - how'd you do that?"
That is so funny! Way to go Panda...get Mommy up.

I don't ever sleep in past 8:00, ever, but if I am still sleeping in bed at 6:00 China will climb on the bed and come up and tap me on the hand with her paw. If I try to ignore her, she will tap again until I respond. Now this dog has a doggy door, so doesn't need me to let her out. Also Chuck gets up very early and feeds all the animals so she doesn't need any food or water. She just wants me up because it is different then the usual day for her. She is so funny. So once I acknowledge her she is ok. Silly Aussie. :hearts:
Crazy Girl! It's stories like these that make me so happy that Barney doesn't know how to jump on the bed!
At 5:00. almost to the second, EVERY morning Ty sits on my pillow and chews on my nose. Tasker stands by the bed and gets his cold nose in on the action. I would GIVE ANYTHING to sleep just one morning til, oh say 6:00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gotta love those fluffy alarm clocks.
Panda usually does the cold nose thing or rams the bed with her head...she has never swatted me or jumped on the bed before......I have to say it was hard to fall back asleep....my heart was pounding :?
I see this as a marketing opportunity for an ingenius kennel somewhere.

How about:
"The bobtail alarm!"

Any better names for ummm this unique "line" of appliances?
She is such a funny sheepy

Darcy, that is so funny! What did Brian think when it happened?
what do you think E?? He sat up and said...get off the bed..NOW! then flopped back down.....lol...it really is all of his fault, mr. just let her on the bed for a few minutes every night.... 8O

Sue..it wouldnt matter where i lived, id always be in fear of something......... 8O
Panda sounds like she is a lot of fun :D
Good girl Panda! She's just making sure mommy and daddy are alive so they can begin their day with her. Fortunately all this settles down when they get older and they sleep later. Mine are 6 a.m.ers....almost to the minute. Fortunately they are more suble, rock the bed with their 100+ bodies, climb onto the bed and sit on me or stick their tongue in my mouth if I dare have it open to snore.
Oh yes, Darcy, I feel your pain. Once when my husband was away Fred pounced on me in the middle of the night and scared me to death. He was then booted from the bedroom.

Every morning it is the same routine, first I get a lick in the face, then I get a claw paw, and this progresses to half of Fred laying on top of me. I think he is getting the point that this line of awakening does not fly with me. I have started telling him to go lay down on his bed when he does this at 5 am. My husband golfs early Sunday and Fred thinks the second my dh is up it's time to wake the household.
