I have found only a few references to it on the web, and only 1 image. The image was from the James Bond movie "Moonraker" where someone ("Jaws", I think) flies into a BA billboard that has that slogan. What I am really interested in is seeing some of the old spots, and/or finding out who the actor was who was in many of them. I seem to recall him as a distinguished old chap with a cane and a bowler, but I'm not sure. Can anyone add anything? Thanks! |

your thinking of Robert Morley and he was the BA spokesman for quite a long stint. He was a right famous actor. Well.. to those of us who love the old silver screen he was in African Queen, flying machines, etc.

Yes, I think that is he!
Now, if I could only find those commercials! |
Random: I "think" British airways is the airline Regis just took and they lost his luggage. Two weeks later, his stuff came back all damaged, so he's been going off on them daily. Silly, but the subject title made that pop in my head. |
