I've died and gone to heaven!
 Never told you guys the story but friends of mine GAVE me their 97 van as they have several vehicles and they said it was for the animals!!! He works for Napa so it's has all sorts of neat features, and HEAT!!! airconditioning!!!, even nifty extra headlights in the grill for night vision blindness, and came with super expensive ice tires on rims which were stored in his garage. I coulda cried after recieving it especially when I had gone through that horrible winter with no heat in my 92 van.
The young woman that hit me was very apologetic and I understood stuff happens. My neck hurt instantly but I wasn't about to hold it and claim whiplash. However, icing it and hot baths didn't help so ended up having to go to physio. The therapist looks like a 15 year old boy..(sheesh I must be getting old!) It's been a pain going back and forth a couple times a week but stuff happens. I've also kept my promise to my friend and driven all over helping animals as I now have a reliable van. Think I put more miles on it in the last 3 wks than I did in a whole year in my previous ancient van. Yesterday had to take it in for repairs and had to get a replacement vehicle for 2-3 days. The person at the desk was apologetic and said sorry no vans available we just have this BRAND NEW FORD ESCAPE!!!! I drive away and am glowing from heat to toe...my butt was hot too...ha ha..I realized those cream colored leather seats are heated!! Only thing is I can't take Blue, Merlin or Panda to the woods for 3 days as gasp they might get it dirty. This vehicle will be nice for a few days of luxury but think I am actually more of a dirty dog van person.

Wish I could, but Panda has a nasty habit of biting seats if he gets anxious about something..didn't care if I had my crappy van. Egads don't want to push it as knowing my luck I'd end up having to pay for replacement cream leather heated seats.. 
However I should put on the shades and go cruising myself...

I tried so hard to win an Escape a few years ago. They were giving one away through Canidae Dog Food. With all my dogs we go through plenty of food, so I got lots of postcard entries in the bags, I also sent in the legal limit of recipe card entries too! Alas, I did not win.
