Food Saver

| We have a food saver. I'd love to use it, but my husband has it in the basement with most of our wedding gifts. Ah, we've been married 4 years now! Don't ask me why, he's abit OCD! The kids call our basement The Crate and Barrel warehouse. We have such good things there, but he's waiting til we buy a house (we're in a townhouse) to break the good stuff out. I think it looks really cool....and would LOVE to use it! (PS...I love my husband, and accept all of his picadillos, cuz he accepts mine!) |
| why I am asking the newer ones are so much better. I have had 2. first I gave to my daughter when I got this one a frw trs ago but the newer ones have the crush free for cookies ect and hand free. by the wat my daughter got hooked and when she burned it out also went and got a new one. |
Billy had one. I think it lasted around 2 years and he burned out the heating element. He did not have the one made for wet food and that is what causes his problem.  |

| Love mine....I use to can a lot of food now we freeze more...last year I did tomatoes...they are great...cored and stemed them....did not skin them...put them in a foodsaver bag.....when I took them out and let them thaw a little the skin comes off like a grape....wonderful for cooking..
we do all our venison in the bags......if we buy a lot of meat that is what I use |
