Are they nice enough to take to Goodwill? |
are they special sort of cookie sheets? otherwise, cookie sheets are so cheap nowadays, I'd be surprised if goodwill took rusty ones
I love fresh new cookie sheets! old ones get to sit in the trash! |
Are they full sheets? I never throw anything like that out.
I gathered old pie plates for a few years and did a punch and painted design for Christmas gifts. You could do something like that. Glue on a few greens and a hanger and you have a great door hanging to give a neighbor. Old cookie sheets are great for lots of stuff. They make great safe surfaces for underneath when you are doing crafts, great for sorting seeds before storing, dividing lids for all the plastic containers we accumulate, screw handles to it, paint it and use it as an outdoor tray for cookouts, I can think of a thousand things. Shall I go on?? Or you could scrub the rust off, oil it, and use it as a backup sheet - always covered with parchment or non-stick foil. Shellie |
