It pays to have a FIRE CHIEF in the house!
Since Doug is the local Fire Chief, and very safety conscious, he decided to bring one of the pumpers up "just in case" the fire got out of control After an afternoon of burning he decided that since the truck was there, they might as well use it (boys and their toys). So he and his sons had a great time "putting out the fire". The dogs, Doug's Mom and I stayed up on the deck

I'm MAJORLY impressed. NO WAY owuld you get me in turnout gear much less fighting a fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I first became an EMT (under much duress from Doug) I asked him to take the class with me. He told me he would do that ONLY if I took Firefight 1.
