It really strikes me as fake. Anyone else feel that way? |

I've been watching. What strikes you as fake? How they choose the people to be eliminated?
Last night I was actually surprised by the ending few minutes of the show--I wasn't expecting that at all... I want Amy to win. rory annoys me. |
Yes, I'm all for Amy, too. Last night...and the week before, it really struck me odd, who they sent home. Paul (?) was much more personable and seemed to be a better cook than Jag....but they sent Paul home. Then last night, I was shocked that they would send Amy home before Jag. She's done soooo well....and he sort of scoots by. Think about the Iron Chef challenge, she was fabulous! And he sucked. Just doesn't seem realistic. And his "confession"...hmmm.....just all too phoney and scripted. |
I know--it seemed like Amy was going to easily be a finalist. And then they chose Jag. I don't know--he definitely IS entertaining when he's 'on' so I was thinking maybe the judges were working from that--thinking that maybe if they polished him up a bit that he would be great--he definitely had the passion going for him. And maybe they were hoping that he would keep improving so they could add some diversity to the channel.
It always surprises me on reality shows when they let someone on and then sometime during the show a 'scandal' is uncovered about a person's past. It seems like they have to go through so much to go on the show in the first place that the 'scandal' would have been found out before the shows begin...so that may be scripted in a way to add some drama...I don't know. All I know is that it would be HARD to have your own cooking show! |
Yippeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
I know! I bet she'll have a really cute show.
And I was glad to hear that she's from from San Diego, not just living there! Hard to find natives |
