Darcy is driving me nuts
No matter what I have tried it has not worked. I used a spray bottle of water and she loved it  . Tried not to look at her and she will jump at me. If I walk away she bites me on the legs or butt. If I yell she only gets worse. BUT if my husband yells at her she stops .... We just started school last tuesday and Madeline said she acted perfect. Never barked once. I was ill and could not go. I will this week. PLEASE need help  |

Is she ready to learn the "quiet" command? We had to teach Bingley to 'speak' and then teach him to 'quiet'. We also had to teach him that he wasn't allowed to play with us unless he was holding a toy in his mouth - it stops the barking and the biting. It's my favorite trick and they pick it up lightning speed - I'm guessing she'd get it in under 5 minutes!!!  |
I did the same thing toy in the mouth works great. She now grabs a toy when she wants someone to play with. This includes our poodle and cat.  |
| She's dominating you. You have to assert yourself as the boss. Watch your husband and how he acts with her and try to replicate what he does. |
| She probably gets a burst of energy around this time and barking/nipping is her way of telling you she needs to play. Maybe you can take her out at 11:30 and let her run wild.
