I am "tess's person" as our breeder insisted that OES's select who they live with. Tess selected me. We also have "tille" who is our genius sheepdog. |

Hi John
Welcome to the forum to you and to Tess and Tille! There are lots of people owned by their sheepers here, so you're not alone! I look forward to reading your posts. |
Actually my first name is Gary. The signature quote is from a new HBO series. Thanks for the greeting.
I have photos of my girls being added. I tried to use one as an avatar, but the file is too large. Is there a way to overcome that? |
Welcome Gary. I was going to tell Ron that, but ya beat me to it. Welcome to the forum. I think you will find alot of useful info here. I will let one of the photo gurus tell ya how to do the avatar, I struggle with mine everytime I try to change it. |
Hi Gary, Tess, and Tille!
Welcome from Alaska! |
Hi Gary! |
Thanks Ron.
Thanks all for the greetings. Glad to see someone recognize the signature. I have a brother living in Willow, Alaska. I am working on uploading some additional photos of my girls. Tess is my beauty and Tillie is our smart girl. |
Hi Gary, and welcome!!! |
Hi Gary, from MN.
Can't wait to see pictures and hear more about your girls Tess and Tillie. |

Yes! Once your photos have been approved, you will find them by clicking on the my photo link near the top right of this screen or by clicking on the camera icon at the bottom of your posts. Find the uploaded picture that you want to use as your avatar, but don't click on it! Instead right click and then select properties. A little screen will pop up with information about the photo, including the Address (URL). Copy that address and then paste it into the profile where it asks for the URL of the photo you want to use as your avatar. For example, the address of the photo of your two doggies lying down is: http://photos.oes.org/albums/userpics/1 ... 210094.JPG Welcome!! |

Done! |
Welcome to you all and sending Hi's from Australia. |
Welcome to the forum to you, Tess and Tille from Norway! |

I just meant as a general instruction people need to wait for their pics to be approved and then they can use them as an avatar. Of course, they can always resize them themselves and upload them directly as an avatar too. They are so cute! They both have a slightly dubious look in this photo. It would make a great avatar. |
haha...great photo! welcome! |
Hello and welcome!
Your sheepie's so cute! |
Hi Gary. Your girls are adorable. Nice to meet ya! |
Welcome to the forum. Tess and Tillie are adorable!! |
Thanks to everyone. I actually may have an avatar now, thanks to Valerie if it worked.
Tess and Tillie are quite a pair. Tess is 3, Tillie is 6 and Tess's aunt. |
How on earth did you choose which one would be the "pretty" one? They're both gorgeous!!
Welcome to the forum Gary, Tillie & Tess. |
Welcome Gary! Your girls are beautiful. |
Thanks to all! Tess (black on both ears) is the "pretty one" because she is more attached to me (I am a guy after all).
Actually, it is because she is beautiful. I had a guy stop his truck one day in an intersection when I was walking them and he pointed to Tess and said "That is a beautiful dog!" Same thing happened in the vet's office yesterday. A woman leaving with a weimaraner said "she is gorgeous." This is common when I have Tess out in public. Tillie's distinctiveness is in her intelligence. I have found most Sheedogs to be deceptively intelligent (the "happy clown"). Tillie openly displays her intelligence to the point where we sometime think she is smarter than us! I think she is very cute also. |
Welcome Tess, Tilly & Gary!1
What pretty girls you have! |
