Is there anyone on the forum who is a lawyer, or has some sort of experience and can offer legal advice? If not, that is okay. I just thought I would try as we are running out of options lately. Thanks, Bridget (and Monty) |

Heather is in "training"! |
Hi my Mom's best friends husband is a lawyer - would he be ok? |

Haha yes I'm in still in training, so I think it might be unethical for me to offer legal advice. I still have a year left and the bar, but if I have an educated opinion on your issue I can offer that (as an opinion only!) Feel free to pm me and I will try to help! |
Val is a lawyer.
Although, I know laws on various issues differ from state to state. |
I want to thank all of you for replying. I have sent my story to a few to see what you think. My nephews were abused by their father and my family is going through the proceedings to get the jerk (there are a lot of bad words I would like to use right now!) behind bars. We seem to be at a stalemate for some reason.
It is truly taking an emotional toll on all of us...as well as a financial one. I think the quicker we can get this resolved, the quicker they can concentrate on healing and getting better. The people on this forum are the most kind-hearted I know of, as well as trustworthy, and I thought I would see if anyone could help. I truly really appreciate this, and will be praying for the OES forum!! Thanks again, Bridget (and Monty) |
Good luck with all you are going through. Thinking of you! |

True, but unless your dispute is with your phone or cable company, I am not able to be much help. I hope your family finds the help it needs. Now, if it comes down to getting the phone number out of his name when he goes to prison or understanding the options for an unlisted number, I could probably point you in the right direction . . . |
