I am 2 1/2 hours south of Huntsville. I used to travel to H'ville, but I am not aware of any doggie friendly parks. I am afraid to say that Alabama is one of the last to catch up with the dog friendly parks, etc. |
Wow, that's a move.
A work related one? Good luck! |

A work related one? Yep, hubby got a new job. Neither of us have family here (or there), so it's not too huge of a change. Although we have made a lot of friends in the 2.5 years we've lived in TN. And we LOVE our church here. ...we're just trusting that we'll make new friends and find a great church there too. |

Oh, that is sad. I think we've been spoiled here. The first (and best) dog park we ever went to is one here in Knoxville. I need to remember to go there and take some pictures to post a thread about it for people traveling. It is at the PetSafe Village (PetSafe makes a lot of dog products, especially electronic fences, etc. and their headquarters is here) and it is so nice. I guess we'll have to make sure we have big yard at our new house... |
I've seen several House Hunters (on HGTV) shows that featured the Huntsville, AL area and it looks like a great place to live with wonderful affordable housing. Good luck with your move! |
Moving is work! But it is nice that Jon got a new job. You guys are adventurous!
Does your church have any recomendations about one for you to check out in Alabama? When I moved down here eons ago, ours did. Unfortunately the pastor here was not very likeable, and I didn't join. Later, talking to my very proper and nice new grandma in-law who belonged to the same church - she told me the same thing! I'm sure Callie and Lambda will help you make new friends! But, now you will have farther to drive the Sheepiepalooza next year! We need more pictures like this! - |
