Thinking of buying a grooming table and wonder where to get them from, how much they are and would there be a lot of difference to my normal table?? Is it worth buying one? Thanx!! |

Hi Monika
I have a grooming table and wouldn't be with out it! Yes they are expensive, Have a look on Ebay! you may get one there! I think i payed about £90.00 but will worth it!!! |
I love my grooming table because it's the only flat surface in our house that isn't covered in clutter.
Seriously, having a proper grooming table allows a lot of flexibility in where you can groom. Indoors or outdoors, depending on the weather, etc.. It's also nice not to worry about the dogs jumping into the middle of Thanksgiving dinner when they feel the need for attention. Try scanning through eBay-uk for a variety of tables. Watch the shipping prices carefully, though. It may cost more to ship than the sell price of the item. |
I love mine too. They are an investment, but last forever! I got mine 10 yrs ago at pet supply store, so no shipping was involved.
You do need to check shipping prices if you are ordering one - the tables are fairly heavy. |
For whatever it's worth, I made mine. You really
don't have to be handy to do it and it costs so much less. The ones you can buy are a little big lighter in weight, but mine folds flat and stores easily just like the ones for sale. I don't know how your dog shows are in the UK, but most of our shows have lots of vendors with many different dog products. Maybe you could go get a feel for the different tables at a show? Just a thought. Shellie |
Thank you all for your lovely advise, that gives me great ideas! Will defenitly buy one, probably will try e-bay first! I will let you know when I've got one!
