I had a great weekend. Yesterday we had dinner at a nice Italian place with about 10 friends and then, on a whim, went and caught the late show of Transformers. Sadly, at my old age, the first thing I said to everyone at the end was "Hey, I didn't fall asleep!" It was a fun movie, though so that helped! Today James took me shopping because he remembered that the dogs forgot to go shopping for me so Clyde, Bear and Lucy got me a video game for the Wii. My real gift from James is next weekend-- he's taking me to Chicago to see Wicked, which I've been wanting to see for awhile so I'm looking forward to it! Both days this weekend I tried to get up early and go see Nita show Nelson in Monroe but I'm afraid I couldn't get out of bed early enough. That was gonna be my mini birthday event to myself but I guess I'm not getting myself anything this year. Sorry, Nita.  |

It looks like a pretty good place, especially for the price that I got on Priceline. 99% of the time, I don't care where I stay as long as the location is good. Only on special occasions to I care about having a really nice room. Looks like we get both here. |
