SO! She started one of her old puppy habits again, chewing her nails. She chews them so much that we don't have to trim her front ones, she does.... Has anyone ever heard of this?! Any advice would be appreciated! Kirstin |

My sister's Lab (who passed last year at 15 years old) did the same thing .He did it his whole life.
We would laugh cause he would never need his nails trimmed. The funny part was watching him chew the back ones..... He had everyone of them down to the quick! I guess it is a better habit that smoking...........LOL Antoinette |
That's why we had to cut her hair!! She kept catching her hair on fire! JUST KIDDING! Mynie's knows better than to smoke!!! |
My Chow used to bite her own nails....we never needed to cut them either. |
will someone teach panda that...it sounds a little neurotic, however, since she hates me doing her nails she could have a go at it herself.... |

I wish someone would teach Tucker the nail biting
trick. I just trimmed his nails the other day, and we went through half a pack of hot dogs till I was done. Then of course he had the poops... Shellie |
My Wheaten bites his nails. He usually chooses to do it at night when we're trying to sleep and you hear a nice crunch, crunch sound. |
