I was so surprised to read Panda's nickname!
I think Brian is thinking of Chumley the Walrus. http://www.tvacres.com/fish_seals_chumley.htm We hear that alot. Chumley is very flattered that Brian likes her name and is more than happy to share it with beautiful Panda girl |
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! |
Clyde says that's much better than his nickname from his dad. "Fat Nerd" doesn't have the same ring to it. |
I'm starting to feel very sorry for Clyde. I thought it was just his mom who was verbally abusive and lowering his self esteem (fatty fat pants), but his dad too!
Darcy--that's such a random, but cute nickname... |
Clyde has no self esteem problems. In fact, if we didn't knock him down a few notches, he'd be very arrogant. It's for his own good, I'm telling you. |

Sure... Whatever helps you sleep at night. |

Tennessee, a wise-cracking penguin, and his dim-witted pal, Chumley (voiced by Bradley Bolke), resided in the Megalopolis Zoo. They were constantly scheming against zookeeper Stanley Livingston (voiced by Mort Marshall) and his assistant Flunky (voiced by Kenny Delmar), in an attempt to raise the quality of zoo-life. Their projects required the assistance of their educated friend, Phineas J. Whoopee (voiced by Larry Storch), and his 3-D BB (a three dimensional blackboard). The 3-D BB helped demonstrate basic scientific principles through the use of instructional film clips (a technique also used that year by Ken Snyder's syndicated Funny Company cartoons).
Aww, I feel bad for Panda now....this clip says that Chumley is dim witted...lol....mean daddy....but it is STILL better than "Fat Nerd' |
I didn't know that about the name Chumley either, so when I read that your husband was calling him that... it was so confusing! |
Be glad he calls her Chumley.
Joe just tells me the Princess needs my attention (translated means London has chewed something up that had some importance like another pair of his underwear or my bra or one of my good shoes). |
