Has anyone ever had Lloyds BBQ ribs?

They are on sale this week. They are already cooked and packed in sauce. Vacumed packed.
They come in a full rack.

I have had some of the LLoyd's BBQ stuff - the ones in the plastic tubs in the frozen food section. It was just OK. Good for keeping on hand for a quick meal. Not something I would serve to guests for dinner!
Yes, my husband loves them. They also sell extra sauce too.
I think the pork ribs were about $16 last time I bought
them a few weeks ago. I keep a pack in the freezer
for a quick dinner. The package is great now--you just
peel it. It used to be double wrapped and I used to
wrestle with the packing every time.

Enjoy!

We used to also get it for quick meals, but my husband wasn't a fan, so he said he rather me cook my own. I thought they were "okay" for a quick meal too.

We love Ah-So sauce on our home cooked ribs. I once met
the family of the gentleman who invented the sauce. He was a scientist and
his hobby was making sauces. His family requested the
sauce and it grew into a nice business! :D

His experiment has lead to many happy meals at our house.
My hubby makes some really good ribs, but I still like to have Lloyds every now and then. They are great, even though they are pretty expensive.

The BBQ pork that is in the tub is not so great.
ohhhhhhhhhhhh i must be the off one here! I love them!! And the tub stuff too.

If i cannot get to the Bar b Q boys house........... GOOD texas mesquite smoked bbq beef, that to me is the next best thing!!

I like them too, but for the price, we can't afford them very often! I try to limit my meat purchases to under $10 a meal. They're good, but I have tried some other local brands that cook up better.

And of course, they can't touch good old fashioned deep southern BBQ. If only I could learn some of THOSE recipes! The food I had in Valdosta GA had me in culinary heaven! Ahhh... southern barbeque!
yuck! I dont like lloyds....too sweet.....Id take costco ribs over lloyds any day.
Well I bought them today!!! The store had them bo/go and I had $2.00 coupon. so each cost $7.00 each.
Wow, what a great price! Enjoy!
How do you cook them?
We have Montgomery Inn here and they are much better than Lloyds.

They are pre-cooked but you need to warm them up. Instructions on package.
Yes this product is hideous

Had the ribs twice in about 3 years. Not that great. Meat is grainy tasting and the sauce too sweet. Not the tender to me. Will not buy again.
Never heard of them.

We have a couple of great BBQ places in the DFW area that are pretty good and reasonable. We just pick up a couple of pounds of beef, ribs or chicken and incorporate them into our meal. Several of the places are open only until they sell out, which can be as early as 11AM or as late as the end of lunch. Crazy.
