Puppy Mills = BIG BUCKS
These "breeders" are in business FOR THE MONEY...and don't let them fool you they love dogs. I had an eye opening experience today... I am looking for retail space in my area...I came across an ad in the classifieds about space for rent in a very nice town and the ad said it was an existing puppy store. I called. The man who is the landlord proceeded to tell me the store currently is a puppy store, selling puppies and making over 1 million dollars a year...You read that right...One million dollars a year.!!!! Once he explained the business, I realized it was a puppy mill and of course am not interested...However, I did run the name of the place through the better business bureau and consumer affairs and sure enough, there were lots of complaints from people buying puppies there and having all sorts of health problems, worms, intestinal parasites, etc. Bottom line is...these poor puppies are being bred for bucks...What they go through is horrendous...and what keeps places like this in business is people continuing to buy from them... Please, please, don't support puppy mills. Please use referral lists from the OES Club and investigate thoroughly...The reason these puppy mills are in business is because they are making mega bucks at it and the reason they are making those bucks is because people are buying from them...Boycott Puppy Mills! |
