My Ben is almost 10 years old. He is perfect in class, in the house and in the backyard. However, the minute anyone lets him outsde without a leash - he goes where he wants. He knows we can't catch him. 
So he never goes out without a leash. Bailey goes out front and stands on the porch. She will not get off of it unless she has her leash on. Riley does a perfect heel, always. Unfortunately she doesn't do as well with anything else.  |
| Never, never trust them off leash. A cat could run by, or a child and off they go. I hold my breath each time I open the gate to come home. That's why I so love having Paul home right now, he can use his cane to hold back anyone (Jack) who even dares approach the "no tresspass line." |
