An Okie OES "hi"!
We've had our OES, Winston for over 10 years, and he's the best dog in the whole wide world....just pitifully loving. Lately we've been having those "oh dear what are we going to do when you're gone" moments...realizing that he's getting up there in age. Well get another OES, of course. He'd do super with a puppy - loves ALL dogs and is still super active and playful, so we might consider another in the near-er future... 
We have three children - the oldest was 1 when we got Winston and he is the proverbial babysitter. He'd never leave the two babies sides when they were newborns. Herds the kids all over the yard and right into the pool when he wants. 
Love seeing and hearing all of your stories. Sure makes the puppy fever hot, though! |

Thanks for the welcome. I've been trying to enter a picture, but I'm not figuring it out. I use this same bulletin board format in another forum and it normally works, but not here.

| Welcome to the forum from PA! The picture of Winston with your little guy is just too cute.
As for Winston being 10 yrs old, don't fret. Our Drez is coming up on 14 in August. Although her hips are bad and her hearing is going, when she's up, she still thinks she's a puppy and can run and jump like she used to. Poor baby!  But at least she's still with us. |
