| Deborah, Comcast is $50 a month. I refuse to pay that! I even went as far as thinking about changing phone companies but I can't find another phone company with service in my area. I don't exactly live in the middle of nowhere! |

| I have my net and cable bundled... it works out to about 130 a month, but the net alone is 40 I think, plus taxes etc...
I'd give up cable before I'd give up my internet LOL |

I would find out if your Cable company offers bundles. I have my phone, cable and internet all through my cable company. The breakdown on what I pay for phone and Internet are $25 each. The phone includes unlimted long distance, call waiting, caller ID. Best of all High Speed Internet. |
| The only bundles offered are for cable, voice and Internet. You have to take all 3. And guess what? Voice is not available in my area. |

| Save your money and use the computer at work. Dial up is nothing but FRUSTRATING.....when we moved dial up was the only choice.....if I would have known how bad it was I would have gone computer-less....luckily we have a new cellular modem now....its not perfect but its a thousand times better than dial up.
With dial up I couldn't post pictures, I couldn't read some of my emails....it really is not worth the money. Sites were really slow to load.... |
This forum should be good for dial up, except for the pictures threads that have a 100 pictures in them.  |
