Well, today was our first day at puppy class! It was sooo fantastic! There were about 8 puppies there. Ofcourse, Mopsey was the BEST! She was calm, focused, did everything correctly, listened! I couldn't believe it was my dog!!! LOL and she did it all without treats! I was soooo proud. She was one of two puppies who did everything correctly, and was best behaved. The trainer was great (thanks G/A!!!), she is a holistic trainer and believes in positive reinforcment and cooking for her dog. Well, wellness, blue, and flint river were named as one of the best foods (we know that already LOL). We spoke about leashes, and collars, and heartworm and flea and tick meds. She doesn't believe in using them because she thinks they are toxic to the dog. She sprays her dog with natural repellants, and checks for heartworm regularly. She believes that in NYC heartworm is very rare, and she would use it if she lived in TX or FL. Ok, that's it for now, gotta run to the vet to get Mopsey's sleepy leakies checked out. |

Marley,
What great news! Great job, Mopsey! I have never met G/A, but have heard lots of wonderful things, so I would assume the class you have her in is great! Is today the vet appointment for her leaking while sleeping? I hope it all goes well, please let us know when you can what is causing it. Give Mopsey a big hug for being as smart as she is cute. LOL, Stormi and co. |
Great News! I'm so glad things went well and you finally convinced your husband training was a good thing!
Keep it up Mopsey! Maybe you can come to the NEOESR picnic next year and show us all what a good girl you are!
