Do most of you teach "pee/poo" on command, and if so, what do you use AS the command words? My best friend is from Hawaii, and uses " Shee-shee", and "Kookai" (I'm sure I'm misspelling them horribly ) We say "Gopeegopottygopoo!" all as one word... I loved Lisaoes's "Twinkle time" What are some others? |

When I need Violet or China to go potty before we go off somewhere, I tell them to go "poopsydoo". I have no idea how I came up with this word, but it works for them. lol |
"go pee" to pee,
"go poop' to poop "go potty" for both |
Since my neighbors are so far away, and I don't take the dogs for a 'walk' in town...I can use any phrase I like since I won't sound silly. Besides dog people would be impressed and non dog people...well who cares what they think
So I just say "go pee"....... my dogs all poop immediately after eating so I don't need to tell them to do that |
Our command is "do your business" referring to either one.... then a "good business, good boy" when he does. |
I just say, "go pee" but I'm pretty sure it doesn't work like a command! I really like it when we go to shows and Bingley's sisters respond to pee and poo in Dutch! I've never spoken a word of Dutch but our first day out I found myself telling them very clearly to pee in another language! |
We say Do your business...
Or, if we're on a walk and he assumes the pooping position (all hunched), but is slowly walking around and nothing is happening, we say Come On Already...Poop! |
We use "go potty" for peeing. If we want her to poop we just walk her around the block, and if she is gonna go she will go |
Yup, just the basic ''go pee''..... |
Go Hurry Up. Thats what we use. |
We are quite refined in my house....... we piddle |
Hmmm...I think the words are more for me than for the pups.
We use: Go Pee Go Make Go Tinkle Go Poop |
We say Breena Go Potty-
If you don't say her name she just stands there aimlessly and looks at the sky. In fact, all commands have to start with her name ors he looks at you like who me- No I was telling the squirrel to sit. |

that is soooo sheepdog |
Funny thread! Our words for our first sheepie, Quincy, were "potty" for pee and "doo doo" for poop. Yes, I know, highly original.
For Oscar, our signs are "toilet" for pee, and "s*@t" for poop. Basically, I give him the "toilet" sign, and then give him the "speak" sign to tell me if he has to go pee. If he doesn't, I get the sheepie stare . If he does, he barks, and out we go. Laurie and Oscar |
