Paw Size of Old English Sheepdogs?

I did an internet search for the paw size of Old English Sheepdogs, but there doesn't seem to be any information out there, although after one laborious search, one site indicated that sheepdog paws can be as large as 4 3/4". My question is this: What is the average paw size for an adult male Old English Sheepdog? I want to purchase boots/shoes for my sister's dog as a surprise. He is 4-years-old and just as cute as ever. He’s a normal and healthy dog.

Most of the online stores that sell dog boots have large sizes, and some have XL. I'm leaning towards the XL. Very, very few stores have XXL dog shoes. And the paw size charts seem to vary by store.

One XL shoe that I am interested in is 3 1/8 " x 2 3/4". Will this be sufficient for an adult male sheepdog?

Do you know how much he weighs? That could give us a better idea as to whether he is large or XL. My boy is over 100 pounds and has giant paws. He doesn't fit in the short boots at all.
I bought the XL neoprene boots from Cabelas for Chewie. Had to return them - they weren't even close to fitting. Chewie was barely a year old at the time. He's not big for a male either - weighs about 70 lbs.

100 pounds! :o Well, that's justs more sheepdog to love.

I tried to get the measurements and weight from my sister, but she hasn't responded. I don't think she will, because I think she thinks I'll go out and buy a bunch of stuff for the dog, "spoiling" him. Personally, I don't think it's possible to spoil pets.

I'm guessing the XL slippers are too small. Turns out they are only 3" x 2 1/2". The paws have got to be larger than that.
Most people here like muttluks. You can get them real cheap on ebay.

Again, most said their dog wore an XL (OES' that were 63lbs to 100) from a thread we had on here awhile back.

My dog is 4 1/4" and 61-63lbs. She can fit into a L but it seems so tight, so I bought a XL for her front paws.
Well, it turns out the dog is 90 lbs (and only 3-years-old). Funny, he doesn't look like he's 90 lbs; I thought he was maybe around 60 lbs. I'm guessing the paw size might be over 4" in length if he's 90 lbs then.
Just measured Jack, his are right around 5 inches. He's about 115 lbs. Harry just stepped in, 3 3/4" and he's 85 lbs.
