http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/co ... 01389.html I'm a football fan and I realize that the personal life of players has nothing to do with their abilities on the field, HOWEVER in the real world when you do something illegal you go to jail and therefore lose your job!! Besides, like it or not these guys are in the public eye and are role models to little kids. They need to hold themselves to a higher standard....or at least be held to a standard in general. I realize the NFL dishes out fines and benches players for games, etc but it's usually not enough IMHO. I really don't care how well the thugs play. They're still thugs. Get rid of them! Okay, I'll get down off my soapbox now!!!  |
