| Yeah, this post is 7 months old but this forum is pretty slow.
Anyway, I think this commercial is creepy because of a guy who tattoos his body like a tiger. The guy is so pasty and out of shape. Plus it makes no sense, as do none of the other commericals in this series. I got a new phone so my life should be different???? |
| I think they are making fun of the idea that having a new phone service will change your life. They are trying to position themselves as providing good, old-fashioned, reliable phone service -- like traditional telephone companies rather than Vonage, iphone, etc. But they are doing so in a very memorable way. I find the whole series pretty entertaining. |

I also hate that weird little Starburst "Berries and cream, berries and cream. I'm going to get me some berries and cream," guy. He is freaky. I have never seen the other commercial. Edit: I just watched it. I'm not sure I get it. |
