It will most likely change to all black within a few months. Some stay pink - but it's rare.

he is a beautiful big guy. first one I ever owned. I kind of think of him as a big play toy. he is sooooo lovable. a bit drooley, lol, but lovable. can you give me any hints on his breed to learn by. |
OES are wonderful dogs - but they can be a little stubborn. They do best when they are trained with positive reinforcement. I would suggest to enroll in a obedience class - where your pup can learn some basic obedience - but more importantly socialize with other dogs. You will be wise to start now - as he'll soon be entering his teenage rebellion stage.
At 5 months old - he's probably still in his puppy coat. You want to be sure you get him used to being groomed now - as in a few weeks/months you will find that his fur mats in a blink of an eye. Groom him on a daily basis - even for just a few minutes at a time. A good dog is a tired dog - so be sure to spend alot of time with him playing, exercising, training and you'll have a great dog in the end! Enjoy - they grow so fast! Kristen |
