Does anyone know what we have to do to attend the Chicagoland OES event coming up? My husband and I want to take Willow (our 3 year old oes) and would be driving up from Toledo Ohio. Can we just show up or do we need to register? Also where can we find a dog friendly hotel? If anyone knows, I would love to hear from you. Thanks, Jen, Ben & Willow |

WHAT! I haven't heard a thing about it! I'll give a shout out and let you know what it going on. |
Okay, here ya go! I've never gone to this, but it might be fun. It doesn't sound like it's only OES. You don't need to register.
6/24/07 Event: Dog Day and a Baseball Game Time: 1:20 p.m. Location: Alexian Field, Schaumburg Bring your dog to the Schaumburg Flyers game and participate in the pre-game doggy parade! There are two other OES events that are held in the Fall. The Chicagoland OES Club has a large gathering at King's Kennel in Riverwoods, IL (very close to my house) and SheepieFest is strictly a volunteer gtahering which is also held in the fall in conjunction with obedience trials. Dogs need to stay on leash at SheepieFest. Both are a blast! We go to both events and would love to see you! Here's the link where things are posted. If you look closely at some of the pictures, you'll see me, Steve, Mom and Fozzie http://www.coesc.org/UpcomingEvents.htm |
Thanks for the details!
We have been looking for some doggie events and looks like you have given us a few options. Thank You, Jen |
As soon as I know dates for the fall events, I'll post. Hope to meet ya! |
