Scarlet goes to puppy school
During the whole class the golden was bouncing and barking, the cockers were huddled under the bench, the mini aussie was in its mom's arms and the maltesepoo was growling at the other dogs....Scarlet just layed by my feet until it was time to practice what we learned. (she was by far the largest dog there)Next week the Newf will be there too, she had just been spayed and was resting at home. After the class its playtime for the puppies to socialize, they are supposed to want to play together....Scarlet just wanted to see the people, after she got the appropriate pets from all the people she decided she wanted to play with the golden "Cash" after all. The other dogs were not interested in playing and in fact there was a tiny dog, a maltesepoo (he was SO cute but really tiny) he kept snapping and growling at all the other dogs.....Scarlet looked at him and went "HARUMPH" and walked away! Her class is only 4 weeks long and then it will be on to grade one. Also I am taking Avalon to grade one and my first class was without the dog on wednesday night. We have a lot of homework to practice before our next class. The instructors remembered Merlin and Avalon (not too many sheepies here at all) and they commented on Merlin and Avalon's different personalities. Merlin was very good at school, Avalon wasn't, this is why Avalon and I are going again! So far Avalon has been very good practicing at home....we will she how she is next wednesday at school  |
