Flying Finnigan

I figured I would share my latest adventure with Finn, because I believe only my family and fellow owners could possibly understand why a 1 year old clown would try this!
We were at my mother's house today, and I was hanging some baskets of flowers around the porch, Mom asked if Finn could come out with me, since it is gated, and I was away from him for at least 5 minutes, I said yes.
So, out comes Finn, and the next thing I knew my Mom screamed, "oh my God, he is in the shrubs!" Yes, there he was, on top of the 6 ft hedge that borders the porch! He soon realized that he was not in a good spot, and tried to walk back over, resulting in him sinking through the bushes and getting stuck in the crook of a branch. By this time I was on the ground trying to lift him out of the branches, which I finally did. We made it out of the bushes and he was no worse for wear, so he made a sprint to the neighbors to visit Cooper the Husky, who is not a big fan of Finn's. It took forever to catch him, when I did my legs were just shaking. What an afternoon! I ended up with scratches and all Finn got was a grass stained rear end! We were lucky, but it took at least 5 years of my life! Phew!

Wow! What a sight! I can only imagine. I am glad he is back safe and sound.
Whew - I'd be freaking out. I'm glad the situation was minimal for your boy!
I can totally imagine that! Sheepies do the craziest things.

Very funny! Well, for us. It will be for you in about 5 months.

Thanks for sharing!
I'm glad everything turned out OK. I can just see a sheepie thinking you could walk on shrubs. That just sounds like something my puppy would do.
OMG! 8O Glad he's okay.
