Hi to all of those that I have chatted with before and a Hello to all the new people at the forum. It sure was a busy summer for us and I am not sure if I am happy or not to see it end. I have to say it was one of the best summers I have had in years. The kids are back in school and poor Drake is pretty bored during the day, even though he gets to go on more walks then usual. Drake has this really bad habit of jumping on us when we come in the door but since school started on Monday Drake barely pays any attention to me when I come in from outside. Now when the kids come home from school Drake is all over them. Today I was gone about 45 minutes and Drake barely yawned at me. I am not sure if Drake is mad at me, pouting or if he has finally learned not to jump on me. Yesterday I came home from shopping and Drake yawned and rolled over. Drake also does not like the fact that kids go to bed earlier and now paces the house waiting for the kids to come out of their rooms after they have gone to bed. Looks like Drake may have a harder time adjusting to school then my kindergardner. I am just waiting for Drake to get a hold of the kids backpacks because he hates any kind of bags after packing for vacation and we left Drake. He even barks at my purse when I grap it to leave. Poor baby misses his pack.  (except for me  ) |
