Dogs and people alike socialize: Bentley agrees with Harry, the bottled water container does make a good drink container: It is Memorial Day weekend and the pool is officially open - at least that is what Chewie thinks: Val with Maggie and Chummie visits with Kathie who was in town on business and decided to join the festivities. Unfortunately Oscar and Dudley were still back in NY, but we were glad to meet Kathie: Harry hangs out with his uncle, Kobie: Lucky says to Wynette, "Hey mom look at this cool thing I can do with my beard!": The Sheepiepalooza committee: Maggie, George, Barney, Judi and Harry: Harry says, "Hey Oliver, remember me?": Dinner at Chava's, the Mexican restaurant we passed by during the parade sounded good to several of us. Have you ever seen so many dining Old Mexican Sheepdogs?: Harry and Kobie's families dine together: Maggie and Chumley dine with Val and Kathie: Nelson and Wild Angel wait patiently for some chips and salsa while dining with moms Nita and Yvonne: Well behaved dining Sheepies and a totally worn out Basset asleep under his mom's chair: Harry tries out his new St. Louis Cardinals bowl from Pets in the City: |

Wow! Jack, my margarita stealing sheepie would have been in the middle of the table mooching slurps and salsa! and of course chips, burritos, etc.

George and Judi well done on such a fantastic weekend and I hope this is going to be an annual get together, a fantastic time oooops the lil green man is here again. Home safe all and thankyou for sharing the sheepiealooza, what a fabulous time it must of been. Sheepie cuddles to all. |

Yes the little green man is hopping around my keyboard as I type! I am so happy that the sun did make an appearence, my knees are sore from dancing and Guinness and Savannah and Bailey and Jack danced with me!!! It looked like nothing but FUN. PLEASE plan this again and I will be there with or with out Bob. (he is still limping and using a cane) and thank you for the pictures. I looked forward to seeing them every day. What a fun bunch of people and sheepies |
Thank you so much for sharing your evening at Sheepiepalooza! Love the pics and the story that goes with. My favorite pic is the one taken from the street at the Mexican Restraurant. I love putting faces to sheepies and to names. Thankx again and have a safe trip home! |
Looks like you all had a wonderful day.
What a great place to get together. Thanks for sharing. |
WHAT GREAT FUN!!!! The dogs must have had a blast.
Chewie is so adorable |
looks like a perfect day |
How wonderful! I'm so so so happy the weather stayed so beautiful during the festivities Happy travels everyone! |
I'm loving all these pics
That one pic of Chewie in the pool, I never noticed before but he looks like he's marked just like Bree in that pic! Is his ear really striped or does it just look that way in the pic? |
Love the photos, especially in the restaurant! What a great time everyone had! |
Yes, Stacey, Chewie does have the same ear stripe. The hair is long now, so it gets messy and sometimes doesn't show as well, but if it hangs straight down, the stripe still shows.
The food we had this weekend was sooooo good. LeAnne, Keith and I were commenting on that as we were driving home! Friday night at Georges - homemade bread (and loaves/knives to take home - thanks!!), sandwiches with all the fixings, salads, snacks and drinks. Saturday - Culpeppers Bar and Grill -on the sidewalk cafe with the dogs for lunch - yummy Cobb salad for me with homemade ranch dressing! LeAnne said her patty melt was the best ever, and Keith's steak was good too. Supper (again sidewalk cafe-style w/ the dogs) was at a great mexican restaurant! Great food, beer, margaritas......... Sunday was the wonderful BBQ that Judi and George put on - delicious!! burgers, brats (special local ones) beans, salads , cookies, brownies..... We stopped at a Sonic for late dinner as we drove home. That was a treat - don't have them in Minnesota. The fruit and yogurt smoothies -wow! Perfect balance to the coney dog with cheese and onions... Good thing we had lots of walking around , or I would be in trouble! |
It looks like Judy and George created an amazing event. So glad there are so many wonderful photos so we can all enjoy as well. |
