I'm very proud to say, that my boy was an absolute trooper....he sat politely beside me while innumerable strangers approached to pet him, dozens of dogs walked by, barked at him, and in one case jumped on him with no warning (darned retractable-leash people! ) The weather was chilly and rainy, the fair was crowded and loud, and at one point the wind kicked up hard enough to blow several of our neighbors tents up into the air, crashing down on top of other booths! .....though it ALL he was calm and well behaved! What a guy! |

Great going Eggbert we are so proud of you.
Especially with the weather and flying tents , what a wonderful boy you are. |
Did he keep out of the sun? That cut was very short. I am glad he did so well, it makes it more bearable when a fuzzy is near. |
Aw, what a good boy!!! |
What a good boy!! That was quite an experience for his 1st show.
So is the eventual plan to bring both of them with you to shows? |

So is the eventual plan to bring both of them with you to shows? Abby is an old hand at the fair circuit! She and our boy Spencer (Spence died last August ) have gone with us for years. Everyone who does the Art fairs up here (a VERY close knit bunch) loves our dogs and Spencer's death AT the Tanana Vally State fair last year was traumatic for many of them, as well as for us. I'm very much looking forward to introducing Bert around... At this last show, I already had other vendors coming around asking for a "fuzz-therapy" break with Eggbert! |
That is great Laurel. I always wanted to take my sheepie to work. What a good boy Bert is and I am not surprised he is such a hit! |
