she was doing so good when Madeline had her and good the first 3-5 days she got here. Then she is going even when I just had her out. Anyone got a reason for this and how to over come it? Thanks, Deana she also goes on the floor, rugs, anyplace she gets in the mood. We have taken up her water , so to stiop her from drinking so much. |

She is just a baby of course... they generally need to pee every 20 minutes at that age so perhaps being in a crate for any length of time is something she's just not ready for?
I'd mention it to the vet when you take her in for her vaccines oo, she might have a uti. |
Yeah, about every 20 minutes is right. You better get lots of paper towels!:)
We used the pee pads in the crate because sometimes Scarlet would whine AFTER she peed in the crate. The pee pads are very absorbent so the pee pads will help keep Darcy cleaner. It will only last a few weeks. And then she will be able to hold it in longer. And by then she will get the idea to go outside to potty. Scarlet now goes to the door when she has to go. |
