It just melted my heart when she came up and asked me that! |

Homemade dog biscuits for both humans and for pups. Little goodie bags type things.
Dog bone shaped cookies for humans and some for dogs. Went down well at my kids school when they raised money for the local humane society here. Is this something she is doing alone or as a group? If its a group thing they could partner the treats with a dog wash perhaps. |
What a thoughtful little girl. You're raising her right!
How about a lemonade stand? |
That's so sweet!
She could do a bake sale, or arrange a dog walk and raise funds, or a car wash.... tons fo things you can do with kids for fundraising. |
thats awesome!
a dog wash could be fun |
I love the dog wash idea!
Also, how about an art auction? Kids art is so wonderful, and you could have her and her friends all paint their dogs and cats, and ask a local frame shop to donate mats and shrink wrapping!....Coffee houses, and pet shops would be possibilities for places to display the artwork. What a great kid! |
Instead of asking for money, how about asking neighbors/friends for their old towels and blankets. I know here the shelters are always looking for that kind of donation. And I am sure most people have some towels that they are willing to donate |
What great ideas! It takes a special kind of person to want to help others out. Glad she loves dogs so much!!! |
That is so sweet of her, you are raising her right! I had no idea that shelters wanted old towels and blankets, that is something ANYONE can do and not feel bad about asking for donations. What a great idea!
I love the bake sale (or Barkery Sale???) idea. Get cookie cutters, and go to town! |
Thanks for all your ideas. Yes she love animals so much, she is 7 and right now she says when she grows up she is going to be a Vet! I hope she stays on that track.
Thanks again for all your ideas! |

I think that is the best idea. Our local Humane Society is always looking for stuff like that. What wonderful little girl. |
what about squares of paper or even paper cards to print the doggies paw print on I know I was thrilled to receive a card from Dutch with her paw print on it
People at the puppy play group made them for all us moms |

Great idea!!! They need everything: newspapers, cleaning supplies, bleach, food, etc... |
Maybe she could get her friends together to collect bottles and cans, or do it through her school. Or collect used ink cartridges, she can get $2 each for them. What a sweet girl, you must be very proud |
